- 4 August 2007 With the rains coming down on Athens (Full Moon Series) it was way early to see them rained out, but they did so we packed up the King Cobra of Texas circus and moved north the North 40 MX park where they were putting on a little Arena Cross racing. Not many 50cc bikes on hand, in fact just 4, but it was fun for the kids. The first race 50cc7-8 had some wheel to wheel action with Hunter Budd in the lead and Mathew Mahery giving chase. Hunter Budd was on fire tonight taking 3 holeshots and all the wins, for a 1st overall in 50cc 7-8 and 50cc Open. .

- 23 July 07 Badlands MX was next on the schedule with the full moon series in full swing the night brought on some excellent upfront racing with Tyler and Mathew really putting on a show, but Hunter Budd was on the charge to keep them honest. With the series resident Polini racer Hunter Poarch on hand and the orange crush racer Zane Marrett  in the mix it was a real fight for 3-5 and it could have gone to any racer.  In the end Tyler Sudderth took the overall, with Mathew Mehary on his heals, taking the 2nd. Hunter Budd ended with 4th after Hunter Poarch made the pass for 3rd. In the Open class, Hunter Budd and Zane Merrett really made it interesting. Sudderth’ took the overall, but the battle was for 2nd. Hunter got the short end of the win, but not due to lack of effort.

- 22 July 07 The weekend of the 21st brought Hunter Budd to Bowie Texas to finally race the TORN series, Hunter rode hard but was only able to pull a second place, but he did what he could with so few cross country riding times of lately.

- 12 June 07 North Texas MX Park, Hunter took the Holeshots in the motos and Mathew got the first moto wins in both the 50 INT and the 50 Open, but everyone knows it only counts in the second moto, so Hunter put his throttle down and took yet another spoiler from Mehary in a race that was again a sight to see. Hunter got the overall and we couldn’t be more happy.

- 11 June 07 FreeStone MX Park, The racing was exciting as the usual front runners set themselves apart from the crowded gate. Tyler Sudderth (Cob 318) put a show on, with Mathew Mehary (Cob 98) and Hunter Budd (Cob 399) swapped roost a few times.

- 6 May 07, Racing was on for the Fly North Texas Spring Series race at North Forty, Hunter Budd was on hand after a week off turkey hunting. Competition this weekend was tough. Mathew Mehary on his Cobra has been a tough customer to get a win from, Hunter had the jump again racking in the Holeshots, but struggling with a top podium finish. In the INT Hunter rode to a 2nd overall and in the Open he scrapped out a 3rd overall in the INT with a real hard battle with Hunter Poarch on his (POL).  With Hunter  missing a race in the series, it puts him in the spoiler mode for the rest of the series, but with Mehary and Poarch riding so well lately it’s going to be a good series.

- 22 Apr 07: Hunter Budd (Cob 399) also went to Nocona MX Park to race the FLY night series, where the racing was also good. Mathew Mehary (Cob 98)was there with his Cobra and put on a good show with Hunter. Hunter took the Holeshot all 4 times and Mehary took 3 out of 4 wins, with Hunter taking the last race win.

- 21 Apr 07:  Racing was wide open this weekend as the King Cobra of Texas riders took it to the track.

Hunter and Tyler both took on the Badlands MX park with their Night National series warm up. Racing was close and both preformed well, Tyler took his Cobra to 2nd over all with a fierce wheel to wheel battle. Hunters results and speed has also increased in the resent races and this was no exception. With a mechanical error in the first Moto (I forgot to tighten the back wheel locks) Hunter still took a 5th overall in the 50cc 7-8 class. Both Hunter and Tyler rode the 50cc Open and took the top 2 spots on the box.

- 17 Apr 07: This weekend was full of racing action, and King Cobra riders were in the mix. Saturday Hunter Budd 399 started his day at Village Creek racing the TORN 50 expert class. Hunter took the holeshot and lead the first lap, before Ben Otto took the lead with Hunter battling back before lap end. Once lappers started to be a factor  the lead changed hands again, with Otto out front, Hunter and Cayden Cox battled for 2nd, eventually lappers would play a major part in the wooded area and Hunter would get passed to finish out 3rd overall. Good clean racing and fun to watch.

Later that night Freestone kicked off the FMF Night Series, with some real talent on hand for some 50cc racing. King Cobra of Texas riders Tyler Sudderth (318) and Hunter Budd (399) were putting on a good race in the 50cc 7-8 and 50cc Open. Tyler had solid results placing 3rd overall in the 50cc 7-8 and a 2nd overall in the Open. Front runners were Missouri racers Austin Forkner (Cob 214) and JM Belding (Cob 615) 2 off the fastest 50 riders around. Hunter finished with a respectable 6th and 5th.

- 7 Apr 07: King Cobra of Texas riders took on the cold and snow at Village creek for the Loretta Lynn qualifier.  The weather had a winter mix in store for the racers at Village creek and with the snow coming down it was time to race. The competition was great to see, with Belding coming back after an 8 week injury with no loss of speed taking the top spot in both motos. Christian Kilgore gave it a hard go with only a very few hours on his new Cobra and had a good showing closing the books with a solid 4th overall and getting a seat in the regional. Hunter on the other hand really had a hard time copping with the cold and fell way off pace.

- 25 Mar 07: The 2007 Fly North Texas Spring series kicked off with great weather and a perfect track at North Texas MX.  With a few notable riders on hand in the 50cc class the racing would prove to be interesting. Mathew Mehary (Cob 98) came out slugging in the first 50cc INT class with a win, Rider 13 (KTM) was in the mix and Hunter Budd (Cob 399) finished the top spots, but it would be Hunter after a few laps on a new track to dial in the rest of the 50cc class Open and INT was a sweep from then on. Holeshot to checker with Hunter finishing with a 2nd overall in 50cc INT and a 1st overall in the open.

- 24 Mar 07: The Central Yamaha supercross series ended this weekend at Badlands MX park. The 50cc racing was intense up front with Tyler Sudderth (COB 318) and Ethan Gonzales (Cob 199) both  fighting it out for the series overall. Tyler pulled it off in a nail bitter in both the 50cc open and the 50cc 7-8 classes. Zane Merrett (KTM 118) and Hunter Budd (Cob 399) had a show of there own in a battle for 3rd overall. Coming into the evening they were just points away from each other, but after the racing was done, Zane put the pumpkin onto the podium.

- 7 Mar 07: Village creek (Central Yamaha series) Racing was great in the 51cc 7-8 with Tyler Sudderth (COB) 318 and Ethan Gonzales (COB) 199 fighting it out each moto. Hunter Budd (Cob) 399 taking a 4 -6 for 5th overall with some good racing between him and Zane Merrett (KTM) 118.
